When one first enters the Lake Ida Park facility, the overwhelming impression is a massive lagoon frontage as a playground for motor boats, jet-skiing enthusiasts, and water skiers. The neighborhood has no HOA fees for residents to worry about, features three parks with walking paths, a playground, picnic areas, bass fishing, and provides a boat ramp to Lake Ida without going over to the park side. Moreover, Lake Ida could not be in a better location, minutes from the I95 to two international airports nearby, the city's white sand beaches, downtown Delray Beach Atlantic Avenue with 80+ restaurants/high-end shopping/live entertainment, and excellent schools (see below). Finally, several private and public golf courses, regional malls, the iconic Boca Resort and Club five-star hospitality, and urban conveniences like supermarkets, healthcare clinics, fitness centers, and banks are easily accessible.

On the other end of the scale, small structures (e.g., 1700 square feet in size) on dry lots (i.e., no water frontage) ideal for expansion or teardown for a build from ground-up (or to preserve the historical features), start at $550 and go as high as $800 a square foot (UA).
